Michigan Cabin
In 2019 our team had the pleasure of transforming a modern log cabin A-frame located in Three Oaks, Michigan, into a bright and happy retreat for a family seeking a respite from city life. Originally built in the early 2000s, the cabin had a dark and heavy wood-paneled interior that was in need of a major update. To achieve our client's vision of a light and breezy enclave, we curated a 70's-inspired color scheme that brought a sense of joy and playfulness to the space.
One of the key design challenges we faced was creating a space that was both beautiful and environmentally conscious. Our client was committed to sustainability so everything in the home had to be 100 percent clean and animal product–free. Despite these challenges, our team was able to create a beautiful and functional space that reflected our client's unique style and taste. From the bright and airy living room to the cozy bedrooms, each space was carefully considered and designed to create a sense of comfort and relaxation.
The finished product was a beautiful and sustainable retreat that perfectly balanced our client's desire for a bright and happy space with their commitment to environmentally conscious design. We were proud to have worked on this project and to have created a space that our client could enjoy for years to come.
